I am pleased to announce that, after I made an oral argument to the District of Columbia Court of Appeals this February, the court today issued a Memorandum Opinion and Judgment in favor of my client, a decedent’s estate. The court accepted my argument to dismiss an interlocutory appeal by which a beneficiary of the estate challenged a probate court order that allowed the estate to liquidate its principal asset. I am grateful to my client for the opportunity to argue before the Court of Appeals and obtain this relief.
