Anebi Xavier Adoga is a corporate and commercial transactions attorney who advises and represents businesses across several industries on a variety of corporate matters and commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), energy agreements, corporate governance matters, bank regulatory matters, corporate restructurings, equity and debt-financing, securities filings, and compliance protocols.
In addition, Mr. Adoga’s practice encompasses cross-border commercial transactions, as well as advising clients on the Foreign Corrupt Practice Act (FCPA) and the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
Prior to joining Lannan Legal, Mr. Adoga practiced law at large international law firms where he represented clients from various industries, especially in the technology, medical, and defense sectors. In 2020, Mr. Adoga was part of a deal team that facilitated the acquisition of $2.1 billion in assets on behalf of a multinational defense company.
Mr. Adoga also maintains a vibrant pro bono practice. For example, he has successfully represented an individual in proceedings before the U.S. Social Security Administration and has served as an outside general counsel to domestic and international nonprofit organizations.
