Anti-Corruption Statutes and Legal Ethics

At this year’s Hotel & Lodging Legal Summit at Georgetown University Law Center, Bob Lannan moderated a panel discussion on “Anti-Corruption Statutes and Legal Ethics.”  The panel explored issues that arise in the international hotel and lodging industry under the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, 15 U.S.C. § 78dd-1 et seq. and the U.K. Bribery Act 2010 c. 23.  The other panelists were Michael Diamant, of Gibson, a Partner at Dunn & Crutcher LLP; Mark Ehrlich, the Vice President for Global Compliance at Hilton; Matt Kaiser, a Partner at KaiserDillon PLLC; and Kimberly Shur, a Vice President & Assistant General Counsel at Marriott International.
